ACDelco’s organic posts are a cost-efficient solution to inform consumers about parts’ offers and provide a seamless path to purchase through Instagram posts and stories and Facebook posts. The goal is to hopefully target DIYers or shop owners who are actively engaging on their social media and convert them from followers to consumers. These posts are uploaded on a quarterly basis to keep content fresh and new every couple of months.
Their target audience values interaction, whether that be interactive buttons or two-way engagement. They don’t want ads to ruin their social experience so we’ve tried to incorporate posts that make them feel unique and included in the business and experiences.

ACDelco Project Bracket Stories
Above is an example of an interactive bracket we did for ACDelco’s Instagram stories over the course of several weeks. Their followers had the opportunity to participate in choosing which car projects they’d prefer to repair/replace.
As of the 9th story installment, the “Project Bracket” series on Instagram set a new high in reach and story completion rate for the series. These stories average 1,540 unique viewers reached per frame.
+49% higher than the Project Backed series average (previously 1,032 users reached per frame)
+166% higher than the 2020 average reach for all stories
The Project Bracket series continues to perform better and better as the series progresses. The simple two-frame set up and easy to use polls have helped bolster engagement allowing algorithms to extend its reach. It seems like their followers are anticipating the next installment and more eyes are seeing these stories with increasing story completion rates and engagement.
ACDelco Sketch Instagram Posts
Above is an example of ACDelco “Sketch” posts. Sketch posts are a creative way to display the the array of parts that ACDelco has to offer. Each quarter, we feature three different ACDelco parts in fun themed doodles to engage and delight followers.
ACDelco Parts Meditation
During a tumultuous year, we were looking for creative ways to show ACDelco followers that the brand is still there for them by giving them a chance to unwind. Using a popular ACDelco concept from their “Art of the Part” series, we animated brakes in a kaleidoscope fashion, to remind followers to take a moment to breathe and reflect.
ACDelco Parts Evolution
Through this post, we decided to take ACDelco followers on a trip down memory lane. Serving as both a nostalgic throwback, and reminder of how far the brand has come— this series of stories follows a timeline from the start of ACDelco, up until present day, where we show off ACDelco’s brand new packaging. We ended the story with a final frame, asking their followers to give their opinion on how they feel about the most recent packaging update.
