2023 Cannes Young Lions Competition

As a part of the 2023 Cannes Young Lions Competition, we were tasked with producing a stand-out, captivating and unique one-page print ad that would build awareness of Creative Ladder and it's free Career Finder tool. The Creative Ladder is a 501(c)(3) nonprofit that’s dedicated to making creative careers more accessible and inclusive.

OUR CREATIVE EXECUTION

When it comes to careers in the creative arena, there is an awareness gap that affects millions of young people. 75% of creative professionals—and 78% of non-white creative professionals—say they didn't know their current career existed when they graduated from high school.

Our idea was to meet young people where they are—online. Gen Z is expressing phenomenal creativity every day on their phones—and social media is their creative sandbox. So, why not make it clear to them that a career exists based on the creativity they are already sharing online?
